I.. am.. a GLEEK!! apparently I wasn't in the know about this fabulous show "glee". I thought it was high school musical (which I happen to like), but just in a TV show. I thought it was going to be a show with mediocre singing (well Fin isn't that great of a singer, but he'll do), but I was wrong. Mr. Schuester and the girl who plays Rachel are freaking fantastic! The other singers are noteworthy as well. Even Kristin Chenoweth made a cameo. I loooove Kristin (glinda, the ga is silent).

Alright.. I just thought I'd Gleek out a bit. If you haven't seen the show, give it a shot. Seriously.. it's amazing..

On another note.. finally figured out the paperwork. Our Appraisal is due any time now and I should know by Christmas if appraisal is good or not. I'm crossing fingers..

Oh.. Jason Morgan from General Hospital is beautiful.. the end.. :)

I.. am.. a messs..
When did buying a house involve you doing all the paperwork by yourself and a broker getting paid for it!? This paper work is NOT self explanatory despite what people like to think. I like to think of myself as a fairly bright YOUNG (needed that) lady, and yet I can't seem to process what these papers want from me. I've yet to see my broker person face to face. It's all been VIA internet. I think that some things, like buying a house, should still involve more person to person contact. I.. am.. a messsssss.. Have I said that already?

The hubs and I are officially buying our OWN place. No sharing with a parental unit anymore. Don't get my wrong. I have the most incredible mother and living with her has been great, but she's dating now.. and well.. though I encourage her to date, it's weird having different men over. I guess everything came at a great time. The housing costs are pretty low and Eric just received new orders to camp pendleton. We've got our dibs on this wonderful place in fallbrook. Very cute, has a basement (i didn't even know that socal HAD basements), and a yard for my doggies to play.. best part.. A LAUNDRY ROOM!! I was dreading finding a place where I had to go into the garage to do laundry.. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but laundry is my sick sick obsession and I looooove doing laundry.. I feel.. my machines (which I still hug on nearly a daily basis) deserve a room of their own.

So that's what's going on in the world of Dia. Been a bit crazy. I feel like I've had nothing exceptional to write about. I lead quite the boring life, though I do go to disney at least once a month. But that's another obsession in itself. I can't stop my Disney.. Any other part of my life is primarily family (I have an awesome one), and traveling. I guess traveling isn't boring. errrrm.. I'm having a discussion with myself as I type my own blog. .go figure..

So if any of you know anything about this lame paperwork that has made me a bit bald.. PLEASE tell me good news about it being near over! lol.. happy holidays to you all..

I’m feeling quite nostalgic today. Why? I don’t really know. All I know is I miss.. Youth. I miss waiting to see what mommy and daddy had planned for our next vacation. I miss thinking that the 5 bucks my dad gave me to spend was such a great amount of money that I felt like I could buy the world. I miss when 5 bucks COULD buy the world. Sure my youth was full of fear of the old man, but there were also great times that are now starting to shine again now that I’ve let go of the gloom.

What brought about this trip to memory lane? A twitter from Jason Hawes from ghost hunters. He took a picture from a view from Santa’s village in the East Coast. Reading his tweet conjured up plenty of memories of the Santa’s village we had here in southern California. We ventured over to that rickety lil’ village a few times during my youth, and even then, it was pretty worn down. But the decaying décor did not dissuade us from having all the fun we could while enjoying every little elf, reindeer and Santa that we happened to cross paths with. The park has been closed for over ten years, and I am just now feeling the twinge of pain that accompanied the onset of ouch with the rest of my memories that can not be recreated.

I realize how fast things change and how life will keep going even if you’re not ready for it to. I miss my brother being my little brother who followed me around and went places with me because I loved him and didn’t mind him coming. I miss the happy look of surprise when I would pick him something up with my lunch money because I saw him eyeing it. He was so grateful and didn’t have a care in the world save for that object of practically no worth that I had just given to him.. though at that moment, it was worth everything to him. I miss simple joys like that. I wonder if I have a kid, will it break my heart with each day the kid grows up.. will I miss the yesterday of that child’s days? I look forward to tomorrow, but not at today’s expense.

Though I miss all the years that have flown by, I hope I remember how I feel today and make all my future memories one’s that I will miss as well.. I hope one day I can look back at them as fondly as I look back on the one’s I’m reflecting on now. I will keep in mind all the little brother memories and remember that kids don’t need those roxy jackets, or DC shoes to make them happy.. the simple can cause just as much joy.. a $2 hula hoop, 50 cent Chinese finger cuffs, hell even a quarter machine bouncy ball will light up a kids face just as much, if not more. I just need to remember to savor it all and not take any of it for granted I guess..

Wow.. so yeah.. I miss Santa’s Village.. LOL..

Yesterday was.. well, incredible in so many ways.. One, I got to see twilight with a small crowd, however there were some INCREDIBLY ANNOYING teenagers who decided to have full on loud conversations in the theater.. I called them out.. they shut up for a few minutes and started up again. Management was called on them.. they shut up, and started up again.. someone yelled at them.. then at the end of the movie that INCREDIBLY annoying group threw a bottle towards the lady that told them to shut up. I really really hate a majority of these teenagers these days.. I was raised to respect my elders, and be respectful of my surroundings. If I EVER acted like these kids I would've had a belt to my ass in less than a second! But.. enough about those assholes.. the movie was incredibly refreshing.. Not living up to the book in my opinion, but that would be hard to do. I had to explain a lot of back story to my husband so he could understand why we laughed at certain parts and why characters were the way they were.. It is DEFINITELY beneficial to read the story prior to seeing the movie.. and I loved it.. HOLY SHIT edward was hot.. emmett was smoking.. JAMES WAS SEEEEXXXxAAAAAAYYY!! Jacob is my heart.. but that hair just does nothing for me.. I can't wait until he cuts it.. LOL..

Now.. onto the next Incredible of the day... I, Dia Weaver, saw for the first time.. NKOTB LIVE!!! OMG! THe concert was GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I actually had seats next to someone I went to Junior high with! We were jammin' singing right along with our boys.. they are still incredible, they STILL put on an amazing show.. they.. oh man.. they're sexy.. and FUNNY! I love them.. and donnie and joey are still it for me.. Donnie mostly.. I like me some bad boys! LOL.. god, it brought back so many memories, and it took me back to a time when life was so easy and fun.. and music was my everything.. hell, THEIR music was my everything.. and though I felt incredibly aged.. it was so worth it.. I WILL go to at least one of their shows on the next leg of their tour.. and anybody who loved them.. HAS to go!! it's sooo worth it.. nostalgia alone was ... you guessed it....incredible

This weekend was incredibly busy, but I must say.. so worth the lack of sleep and tons of cleaning.

We had our annual halloween party and the turn out was incredible. I've met the most amazing people at the party and even got a chance to spend time with my neighbor. If you ask me, everybody should know their neighbors, but now and days that rarely happens. You can live next to someone half your life and never meet them... back in the day that wasn't so, but lately.. everybody is too busy.. so my new goal is to make sure I am not too busy to meet people who are around..

We had a great time.. I played beer pong for the first time in my life and truely sucked at it. I had to drink beer that was disgusting. however, playing with balls was fun! :)

now that the weekend is over and I have no excuse to do crap to my body... I start a new diet tomorrow.. just healthier eating and not being so free with my starch and fatty eating. I'm also going to go back to the gym. It's been two and a half weeks since I've gone and I can definitely feel the lethargic sense taking over my body from being so lazy. I'm damn near comatose with the bad diet and lack of exercise.

well, I'm going to put some pictures up.. it always takes me a min or two to figure out how to do that.. so hopefully I don't erase this blog in the process.. lol...

http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=viewImage&friendID=12144476&albumID=2937370&imageID=49497982#a=2937370&i=49498006

beer pong and me!

http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=viewImage&friendID=12144476&albumID=2937370&imageID=49520450#a=2937370&i=49520510

becca, me and my cousin!

http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=viewImage&friendID=12144476&albumID=2937370&imageID=49497153#a=2937370&i=49497304

bathroom art.. lol

I've also been preparing for my second annual halloween party.. it's sort of a big deal here.. and I swear I wish you all lived closer so you could come!! (and for those who do live close..

Rules of the Game:
I got tagged by liv.. I don't know how to tag her name..cause I kinda suck..

A) People who have been tagged must write their answers on their blogs & replace any question that they dislike with a new question formulated by themselves.

B) Tag 8 people to do this quiz & those who are tagged cannot refuse. These people must state who they were tagged by & cannot tag the person whom they were tagged by. Continue this game by sending it to other people.(sorry.. I don't know 8 people on this.. LOL.. so if you wanna do it.. do it, it'll be fun!)

Now, onto the survey. Here we gooooo...

1. How has LJ changed your life?
I hate to admit I've ignored LJ for my own writings lately, but I have to say that people on here are deeper than any other place I venture onto (ie. myspace). Thoughts are deeper, and writing is just better. I should play here more.

2. What do you do before bedtime?
I'm usually on the net surfing or watching some show with my cousin. Recently we've rented "weeds" I LOVE that show!

3. What will you do for your 10 year anniversary? (can you tell this is one of the questions I changed? LOL)
I'm hoping my husband and I can spend some time together and go somewhere fun. I'll just be getting home from 10 days in London for Liz's wedding but I'm all about being with my hubby. Perhaps we'll make up for the day of our anniversary (9-5) for my 30th birthday.. weee!

4. What is the city of your dreams and why?
I love San Diego.. I can't lie, I've traveled to many parts of the world and still find San Diego to be it for me. Minus the cost of living, it's great. If I had to pick out of Daygo, I'd pick Florence, Italy. It was so charming there, I loved it.

5. Are you an introvert or extrovert?
I like to say I'm shy, but the strangers I practically sing that to don't believe me.

6. Which is more blessed, loving someone or being loved by someone?
if you love yourself you really can't lose.. it's totally a win win situation, and with loving yourself other greatness comes..

7. Do you trust easily?
absolutely.. just because other people have jacked up doesn't mean everybody should have to work hard to gain my trust. I trust and if I don't feel right about you then I have no use for you.. simple as that.

8. Who is your biggest celebrity crush?
Angelina Jolie hands down. now for the penis members.. dominic purcell, david boreanaz, johnny depp, etc.

9. Is there anything that has made you unhappy these days?
My husband being out to sea.. not knowing when he can take leave so we can do something for our 10 year wedding anniversary.. It's kinda lame, but it's a price we pay for being a military family.

10. What is your best quality?
dude.. I'm just kinda chill. not high stressed, don't let everything bother me, I very rarely throw pitty party's, and if I do I don't bombard people with those emotions that I know will go away.

11. Is being tagged fun?
makes me feel special..

12. How do you see yourself?
about 5'7" a bit overweight but a whole lot of fun. I like to live and I see that as a freaking phenomenal thing.. so I see myself as.. rad.

13. Who are currently the most important people to you?
without a doubt, my family.. Many of my friends are included as family.. but to be honest, there are two people who keep me super truckin' are my husband and cousin.

14. What kind of person do you think the person who tagged you is?
Olivia is an awesome girl with a fangirl heart that exceeds even mine. I wish we could get together soon and catch up, it's been far too long.

15. Would you rather be single & rich or married but poor?
I am married and poor and I am a happy camper.. I'll take that over being a lonely drag with Louis purses full of material nothingness.

16. How many children do you want to have, if any?
one..

17. What's better to give or to receive?
I ain't going to lie.. I love receiving.. I just mentioned I'm poor.. giving is hard.. but if I could do it.. I would

18. If you fall in love with two people simultaneously, who would you pick?
angelina jolie..

19. Would you have 100% safe sex with a stranger for $10,000,000?
dude.. yes, just blindfold me and tell me when it's over..

20.
I.. am a pimple machine.. seriously, I've developed more pimples on my face recently that I did during the entirety of my adolescent life! It's no bueno.

Other than the pimple fest. Not a whole lot has been going on. Got myself a financial adviser and am working on being able to get out of debt (including paying off the house) in hopefully the next 15 years. If I play my cards right. However, I don't plan on staying in my condo for that long, but we'll adjust the plan accordingly. I am dying for a house with a large plot of land. To get anything decent I will have to move out of San Diego and I'm just not sure I'm ready to give up this lovely city.

My hubby love is leaving on mothers day for a three month sea tour thing. Not happy about it, but it's what pays the bills until I get a job. I want a job badly, but am not fully available until the end of this year. I'd hate to get interviewed for a wonderful job and then they find out I have all these vacations planned and paid for and they deny me because of it. BLAh.. Beginning of next year, I'll become and official adult and start making money for the household.. LOL.

here's my cheesy stoked moment for the week.. besides going to the rodeo.. I got my 2008-2009 broadway/san diego subscription.. which to me means I get to watch: Spring awakening, A chorus line, the drowsy chaperone, defending the cave man, the color purple, grease, rain-the beatles experience, tuna does vegas, dame edna, fiddler on the roof, one bonus show, and annie. I am also watching cats in june and phantom in july of this year. I may have my head chewed off by some when I say.. I have no interest in watching rent, so I didn't buy tickets to it. I might change my mind and take advantage of the advanced ticket purchase they offer to members. we'll see. so yeah, that's my happy talk for the week.. YAY for happy!

HOly crap.. my husband is actually cooking me dinner.. I better make myself scarce before he asks me to do something.. LOL..

The time spent with her was sooo amazing and it's just weird to think that this is the same girl who took two days to drink one margarita because she didn't want to get drunk to this lushy lusty sexy siren chick who can drink with all the Londoners and manage to hold her own.. This is the same girl who I would watch my mouth around because I didn't want to say anything to.."adultish," and now she's so grown and being VERY adultish with me.. well, not with me... but y'know what I'm saying..

Seeing her this week made me realize how much we've all changed over time.. I found my little journal thing I kept when Olivia, Bri, Liz and I went to Orlando for challenge for the children. Liz was the only minor so I stayed back with her on for the nights where the 21+ clubs were being hit.. good times good times.. Time flies man, and it just reminds me of how young I'm getting.. *cough*

anyway.. just thought I'd throw a few pictures in here for those who care.. forgive my nostalgic moment.. it happens during babyshowers, bridal showers, weddings and birthdays.. hell, my NEICE is graduating high school this year..
some of you may not get this piece I'm posting.. but it had me cracking up so.. if you wanna know anything about filipino's.. here's something written by a visitor of P.I.. LOL!!

Matter of Taste (the Filipino Culture from a Foreigner’s Perspective)
Posted on July 21, 2007 by hammed
The following is from a British journalist stationed in the Philippines. His observations are hilarious!

“I have now been in this country for over six years, and consider myself in most respects well-assimilated. However, there is one key step on the road to full assimilation which I have yet to take, and that’s to eat BALUT. The day any of you sees me eating balut, please call immigration and ask them to issue me a Filipino passport, because at that point there will be no turning back. BALUT, for those still blissfully ignorant non-Pinoys out there, is a fertilized duck egg. It is commonly sold with salt in a piece of newspaper, much like English fish and chips, by street vendors usually after dark, presumably so you can’t see how gross it is. It’s meant to be an aphrodisiac, although I can’t imagine anything more likely to dispel sexual desire than crunching on a partially-formed baby duck swimming in noxious fluid. The embryo in the egg comes in varying stages of development, but basically it is not considered macho to eat one without fully discernable feathers, beak, and claws. Some say these crunchy bits are the best. Others prefer just to drink the so-called ’soup’, the vile, pungent liquid that surrounds the aforementioned feathery fetus… excuse me, I have to go and throw up now. I’ll be back in a minute.

Food dominates the life of the Filipino. People here just love to eat. They eat at least eight times a day. These eight official meals are called, in order: breakfast, snacks, lunch, merienda, pica-pica, pulutan, dinner, and no-one-saw-me-take-that-cookie-from-the-fridge-so-it-doesn’t-count. The short gaps in between these mealtimes are spent eating Sky Flakes from the open packet that sits on every desktop. You’re never far from food in the Philippines. If you doubt this, next time you’re driving home from work, try this game. See how long you can drive without seeing food and I don’t mean a distant restaurant, or a picture of food. I mean a man on the sidewalk frying fish balls, or a man walking through the traffic selling nuts or candy. I bet it’s less than one minute.

Here are some other things I’ve noticed about food in the Philippines. Firstly, a meal is not a meal without rice-even breakfast. In the UK, I could go a whole year without eating rice. Second, it’s impossible to drink without eating. A bottle of San Miguel just isn’t the same without gambas or beef tapa. Third, no one ventures more than two paces from their house without baon and a container of something cold to drink. You might as well ask a Filipino to leave home without his pants on. And lastly, where I come from, you eat with a knife and fork. Here, you eat with a spoon and fork. You try eating rice swimming in fish sauce with a knife. One really nice thing about Filipino food culture is that people always ask you to SHARE their food. In my office, if you catch anyone attacking their baon, they will always go, “Sir! KAIN TAYO!” (”Let’s eat!”). This confused me, until I realized that they didn’t actually expect me to sit down and start munching on their boneless bangus. In fact, the polite response is something like, “No thanks, I just ate.” But the principle is sound if you have food on your plate you are expected to share it, however hungry you are, with those who may be even hungrier. I think that’s great. In fact, this is frequently even taken one step further. Many Filipinos use “Have you eaten yet?” (”KUMAIN KA NA?”) as a general greeting, irrespective of time of day or location.

Some foreigners think Filipino food is fairly dull compared to other Asian cuisines. Actually lots of it is very good: Spicy dishes like Bicol Express (strange, a dish named after a train); anything cooked with coconut milk; anything KINILAW; and anything ADOBO. And it’s hard to beat the sheer wanton, cholesterholic frenzy of a good old-fashioned LECHON de leche feast. Dig a pit, light a fire, add 50 pounds of animal fat on a stick, and cook until crisp. Mmm, mmm… you can actually feel your arteries constricting with each successive mouthful.

I also share one key Pinoy trait —a sweet tooth!! I am thus the only foreigner I know who does not complain about sweet bread, sweet burgers, sweet spaghetti, sweet banana ketchup, and so on. I am a man who likes to put jam on his pizza. Try it! It’s the weird food you want to avoid. In addition to duck fetus in the half-shell, items to avoid in the Philippines include pig’s blood soup (DINUGUAN); bull’s testicle soup, the strangely-named “SOUP NUMBER FIVE” (I dread to think what numbers one to four are); and the ubiquitous, stinky shrimp paste, BAGOONG, and it’s equally stinky sister, PATIS. Filipinos are so addicted to these latter items that they will even risk arrest or deportation trying to smuggle them into countries like Australia and the USA, which wisely ban the importation of items you can smell from more than 100 paces. Then there’s the small matter of the blue ice cream. I have never been able to get my brain around eating blue food; the ubiquitous UBE leaves ube cold. And lastly on the subject of weird food, beware: that KALDERETANG KAMBING (goat) could well be KALDERETANG ASO (dog)…

The Filipino, of course, has a well-developed sense of food. Here’s a typical Pinoy food joke: “I’m on a seafood diet “What’s a seafood diet?” “When I see food, I eat it!” Filipinos also eat strange bits of animals— the feet, the head, the guts, etc., usually barbecued on a stick. These have been given witty names, like “ADIDAS” (chicken’s feet); “KURBATA” (either just chicken’s neck, or “neck and thigh” as in “neck-tie”); “WALKMAN” (pigs ears); “PAL” (chicken wings); “HELMET” (chicken head); “IUD” (chicken intestines), and BETAMAX” (video-cassette-like blocks of animal blood). Yum yum. Bon appetit. “A good name is rather to be chosen than great riches” — (Proverbs 22:1)

When I arrived in the Philippines from the UK six years ago, one of the first cultural differences to strike me was names. The subject has provided a continuing source of amazement and amusement ever since. The first unusual thing, from an English perspective, is that everyone here has nickname. In the staid and boring United Kingdom, we have nicknames in kindergarten, but when we move into adulthood we tend, I am glad to say, to lose them. The second thing that struck me is that Philippine names for both girls and boys tend to be what we in the UK would regard as overbearingly cutesy for anyone over about five. Fifty-five-year-olds colleague put it. Where I come from, a boy with a nickname like Boy Blue or Honey Boy would be beaten to death at school by pre-adolescent bullies, and never make it to adulthood. So, probably, would girls with names like Babes, Lovely, Precious, Peachy or Apples. Yuk, ech ech. Here, however, no one bats an eyelid. Then I noticed how many people have what I have come to call “door-bell names”. These are nicknames that sound like - well, door-bells. There are millions of them. Bing, Bong, Ding, and Dong are some of the more common. They can be, and frequently are, used in even more door-bell-like combinations such as Bing-Bong, Ding-Dong, Ting-Ting, and so on. Even one of our current Senator and Presidential Candidate has a doorbell named Ping. None of these door-bell names exist where I come from, and hence sound unusually amusing to my untutored foreign ear. Someone once told me that one of the Bings, when asked why he was called Bing, replied “because my brother is called Bong”. Faultless logic. Dong, of course, is a particularly funny one for me, as where I come from “dong” is a slang word of well, perhaps “talong” is the best Tagalog equivalent.

Repeating names was another novelty to me, having never before encountered people with names like Len-Len, Let-Let, Mai-Mai, or Ning-Ning. The secretary I inherited on my arrival had an unusual one: Leck-Leck. Such names are then frequently further refined by using the “squared” symbol, as in Len2 or Mai2. This had me very confused for a while.
Then there is the trend for parents to stick to a theme when naming their children. This can be as simple as making them all begin with the same letter, as in Jun, Jimmy, Janice, and Joy. More imaginative parents shoot for more sophisticated forms of assonance or rhyme, as in Biboy, Boboy, Buboy, Baboy (notice the names get worse the more kids there are-best to be born early or you could end up being a Baboy).

Even better, parents can create whole families of, say, desserts (Apple Pie, Cherry Pie, Honey Pie) or flowers (Rose, Daffodil, Tulip). The main advantage of such combinations is that they look great painted across your trunk if you’re a cab driver. That’s another thing I’d never seen before coming to Manila — taxis with the driver’s kids’ names on the trunk. Another whole eye-opening field for the foreign visitor is the phenomenon of the “composite” name. This includes names like Jejomar (for Jesus, Joseph and Mary), and the remarkable Luzviminda (for Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao, believe it or not). That’s a bit like me being called something like “Engscowani” (for England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland). Between you and me, I’m glad I’m not.
And how could I forget to mention the fabulous concept of the randomly inserted letter ‘h’. Quite what this device is supposed to achieve, I have not yet figured out, but I think it is designed to give a touch of class to an otherwise only averagely weird name. It results in creations like Jhun, Lhenn, Ghemma, and Jhimmy. Or how about Jhun-Jhun (Jhun2)? How boring to come from a country like the UK full of people with names like John Smith. How wonderful to come from a country where imagination and exoticism rule the world of names.
Even the towns here have weird names; my favorite is the unbelieveably-named town of Sexmoan (ironically close to Olongapo and Angeles). Where else in the world could that really be true?
Where else in the world could the head of the Church really be called Cardinal Sin? Where else but the Philippines! Note: Philippines has a senator named Joker, and it is his legal name.”
-Matthew Sutherland

The class is killer, yet I have fallen in love with it. A year ago there was NO WAY in hell I'd've been able to do half these positions they want us to get into. I... was able to put my legs over my head and touch the ground above my head with my feet. It was probably the most empowered I've felt with my body in a long time. So yay.. and to top it all off.. the husband ain't complaining!! WEEEEEEEEEEE

lately I've had this thing with hand dipped chocolate covered pretzels with sprinkles. It's just soooo much better when you make them yourself!! So, for becca's 30th I decided to make some.. Needless to say, they got gobbled down.. and I had to brag about them.. Below is a picture of me, the birthday girl, Josh Damigo and Tony Lucca in front of my christmas tree posing with your delicious yum yums! Make them!! it's sooo easy, just microwave a bowl of chocolate chips and dip to your hearts content.. then add pretty sprinkles to make you smile!! It sucks because my original wedding band was really pretty.. but gold.. so uhm.. yeah.. I told eric I was allergic to marriage.. hehe.. so we upgraded to platinum.. anyway.. I'm a materialistic wife.. go fig.. I want my damn bling..

Speaking of bling.. I got the dyson vaccum!! I slid off the wagon and gained a lot of my weight back, but now I'm working that stuff man!!!

Alright.. you all have a rad day.. take care!

Life has been to say the least, busy. my booty finally graduated college.. a million and a half years later, but I did it.. The person who was the hardest on me to finish school due to all the family pressure junk, didn't even call me on my graduation day.. instead my dad was out trying to romance his girlfriend because they had gotten into a fight.. I don't understand his thinking and I don't care anymore.. I'm actually relieved to not have his stupid expectations of me forced on me when he can't even be a dad.. Woah.. I didn't even mean to get deepish there.. off to another subject..

I'm not going to enter the working field until october or so. A lot of family things going on.. high school graduations, weddings and so on. Plus my hubby is finally getting stationed back home.. which means I got to deal with his silly butt more often.. hmmm.. I'll get back to you on how I feel about that.. hehe.. just kidding..

Been working out nearly every day for the last month and a half.. I don't see the difference in the scale, but I feel it in the clothes. Also started Jenny.. so let's see how that all goes. I've just really been working on me.. isn't that a great idea.. I think too many people forget about themselves.. always too consumed with expectations of the world around them that they don't realize that they've got to live for themselves sometimes. so here it is.. My me time.. time to focus on me, make me be the person I want to be.. good shit!

Well, I thought I had more to say.. and I'm sure I do.. but I'm even boring myself.. so hi to all of you and hope you had a rockin' and safe holiday weekend!

PS.. I would due that cut tag thing.. But I totally forgot how.. so my pic goes straight up.. sorry!

my girl liz is in london for a while working.. I've always wanted to go there and as a lot of you know, I'm a traveler.. any excuse to go somewhere I take.. well...I'M GOING TO ENGLAND BABY!! I'm soo excited.. I leave at the end of march and come back the begining of april.. then.. off to delaware sometime in june.. preceeded by some fun out of country vacation with my hubby.. then.. thanksgiving.. hawaii here I come!!! I love this year already and it's barely started..

I was going to get a job right after I graduated, but that's not happening.. especially since I'll be traveling a lot and I know asking for time off would just look bad.. besides.. once I get into a real job with real consequences for missing so much time.. I've gotta keep my nose clean and actually attend.. even when I've got a bit of a cold.. oh shit.. I'm entering the real world.. later..

I have a friend whom I call british ben who will be playing with me while I'm in england.. YAY!! so I won't be bored during the day while liz is at work.. life can sometimes be real sweet..

unfortunately my moms year has started off real rough.. two of her friends have passed away and another has been given a 5 week time frame from brain cancer.. it sucks so bad for her.. I wish I could rub off some of this happy me on her.. she'll be fine, but that age thing is kinda hitting home with her.. awwwwww..

I wrote this on november 19th.. just wanted to share..

Today seriously had to be one of the better days of my life. I can't even express how I feel in words, but just know.. It's awesome how I'm feeling.

First things first.. I woke up.. that's always a good sign. Got ready for Liz to take me where we were going..

Liz my luff, took me to the Winery in Temecula. I'm not sure which one but it was fucking cute!! The food was good, and I actually liked a few of the wines!! The whole thing was just so damn charming I didn't think it could get better.. perfect weather, perfect company, just fantastic!!

We stick around for a while then we head home to "pick up Jessieca." Eric says he's gotta poo, and Liz says we gotta pee so we were just going to go inside and get Jes. So I start walking up the stairs and say "I smell Lumpia." Then I hear "SURPRISE!!!!" Just about everybody was there.. I was a happy fuck for sure!! seriously surprised. Mostly because I had planned the party for tomorrow and voila! it happened a day early!!

Jessieca.. what can I say about that girl. She's rad.. seriously rad.. She went behind my back and e-mailed everybody I had invited for sunday and told them to come saturday.... seriously, just about everybody!! I've gotta give her mad props.. GO COUSIN!! you're like.. the only one getting a christmas gift!! LOL.. I love Jes.

Then there's just the part that really really put the friggin' icing on the cake.. BILLY (BUSHWALLA) showed up and played at my house!! MY BILLY, MY HOUSE!! LOL. okay so he's not MY billy, but I like to pretend.. Cat arranged for him to appear and perform with Keith and James. They rocked the house.. edited themselves A LOT because of kids, but they were still seriously kickin'! I was stoked.. Billy even had on a shirt that said "Bushwalla, Dia's personal.. uhm.." Shit.. i forgot what the rest of the shirt said, but Cat took a picture and I'm soo stoked he wore it!! DAMN it was a rocking Saturday!! I LOVED TODAY!!

People I haven't seen in years came too!! Anna and Ashley specifically.. I love seeing those chicks.. YAY!

After all the hype there's no way I was ready for bed, so we went into Incahoots with Robin, Shurren, Aislyn, Liz and Eric.. I got asked to Dance, tried to pass the dude off, but ended up dancing with him anyway.. nice guy..This dude had these cool necklaces, I told him I want to go find the peeps that gave him the necklaces cause it was my birthday and he gave me one of his.. I hugged him and said thanks and wore the necklace of a bud light field goal for the rest of the night.. the rest of incahoots consisted of just dancing away some energy and coming home.. so now it's officially my birthday and I feel like a fucking queen..

Thank you everybody who attended, thanks for the presents.. thanks for the presence..Just thanks.. You all rock my fucking world!!

You know.. the shit family puts you through never ceases to amaze me. I will never wish my family gone, but sometimes I do wish them on mute! Long story.. I just wish that I didn't have this story to be long.. BLAH

on another note. I'm really taking it easy with no tests this week. I've done homework that's not due until a few weeks from now.. I've just been relaxing.

I'm going to see the other love of my life "bushwalla" tonight.. again. I love that dude, he's just funny as hell. I want to take him home and make him a permanent fixture in my room. I'll just turn him away when the hubby is home. hehe.

I gotta get my doggy checked.. His head shakes sometimes for no reason.. Kind of like he's cold. It's making me sad to know that something might be wrong with him. I'm making him an appointment on monday.. Hopefully I can get something soon. It's not bad, I just noticed it, but I don't want it to progress into something bad.. I love my doggy.

i love filipino food.. yum.

So, I was playing around on my laptop at school between classes and decided to check out my livejournal. And there I see, the most simple but beautiful line written my katy.. it said.. "I think God must have fun painting the sunrise every morning!".. I don't know if it's been the mood I've been in lately, but that little statement just made me light up..

With the stresses of school and all the midterms going on.. not to mention the up and coming birthday, I've just been a little out of it. I've forgotten me.. so I've decided it's time to regain myself. not the weight, just the person.. hehe.

Just wanted to say Hi to you all out there in LJ land. Hope you all are doing well, and I would like to comment to everybody, but I'm really considering a nap... and I've got an hour to take one.. so.. I'm gonna cozy up in this here library and hope not to snore.. peace out!
